2017 wasn’t the best year for me. I had quite a few health issues and my Jackson was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma a couple of months ago. I lost a ton of food pictures when I upgraded my cell phone which is one of the reasons why I haven’t posted in a long time. Not the main reason, but one of… 😉 Sigh. All the pretty pretty pictures are gone. 🙁 I don’t think I’ll be sad to see this year end. I am hoping 2018 will be a lot better for me health wise and pretty much overall.
I have been thinking a lot about this blog and what I want it to be. Do I only focus on food? Do I incorporate more of my life into the posts? I still haven’t really decided what I want to do with Current a Fare, but I do know that I want to continue with it. The problem is commitment, isn’t it? You have to be totally committed to a blog or a YouTube channel in order to make it work.
Adulting is hard! Hopefully, 2018 will bring better things for all of us!!!
Anyway, I made Zuppa Toscana from scratch a few weeks ago. It was delicious. I don’t think that I will post the recipe. There are a bunch of different recipes out there and I would just be reposting someone else’s anyway.
However, here are the pictures and if you enjoy Italian sausage, potatoes and kale then please try making this soup.
The bacon bits were my favorite part!
